Rajanpur Situation

The district administration has neglected to clear the roadways and repair damaged linkages, leaving the passages and roads leading to their villages still covered in floodwater. In Rajanpur’s Kaha, Chachar, Pitok, Sori Shumali, Kala Bagga Khosra, Sori Janobi, and Zangi districts, there were seven hill torrents.

Heavy rains at Bambli, Jampur, Harand, Chatool, Lundi Saidan, Lalgarh, Meeranpur, Hajipur, Pull Dhundhi, Fazilpur City, and several more tiny villages were the cause of these hill floods. Up to 12 people perished in the floods, while 3,192 more were hurt. In addition, the floods damaged 28,646 homes, 318,423 acres of crops, 16 hospitals, 425 schools, and a college. The government has set up 27 relief camps, 48 medical camps, and 55 veterinary camps to aid the populace, and 564 teams are supplying them with healthcare amenities. Additionally, the district government provided the flood victims with 16,685 tents, 48,122 ration bags, 1,430 carpets, 6,866 bottles of water, 2,000 mosquito nets, and 5,583 daigs (of prepared food).
