Rehabilitation of flood affectees
Torrential rains and flooding have submerged a third of Pakistan and killed more than 1190 people, including 399 children creating an unprecedented climate catastrophe. Houses in the settlements situated near the Indus River have been swept away along with most of the crops. Overall 370 thousand houses were destroyed while 730 thousand more have been partially damaged.
The Helpline has decided to provide shelter to the affected families before the forthcoming winters. An economical model house has been designed. The drawing and cost of this model house along with the estimated cost are being offered to kind-hearted people.

Metrological Department has warned that the forth coming winter will be extremely severe. In Rajanpur alone, there are over 10,000 shelter less families living in the open or best in tents.
Kindly join hands with Helpline® who has in Phase 1, taken a humble start by commencing construction of 100 houses in Rajanpur for flood affectees on emergency basis. The cost of 1 house with covered area of 630 sqft is Rupees 6 Lac.
Donation for the house can be lump sum or in parts as per convenience of the donor.
