Helpline Social Welfare Charity Organization is built on the fundamental concept of Mawakhat, which is an Arabic term that refers to the bond of brotherhood and solidarity between individuals or groups of people. Overview of Helplineā€™s Massive Work Over the Years

Helpline started its journey with the private construction of a school in Pak Patan, Punjab in 1993 which got completed in the year 2000.The basic purpose of Helpline is Betterment of the academic activities of Government Schools and concentration towards providing basic necessities of life, especially support of poor students. Helplineā€™s proper registration was done in the year 2000 which included academic improvement of Government schools, wellness of prisoners and supply of food to patients.

2001

Helplineā€™s proper registration was done in the year of 2000 which included academic improvement of Government schools, wellness of prisoners and supply of food to patients.

2002

Initially, four rooms were repaired in Government Boys Primary School Sattu Katla, and free books were distributed among needy students because the government did not provide books at that time. Additionally, an initiative called “Muhammadi Dastarkhwan” was started to provide free food to laborers who were unable to find work or labor. This service was available to all laborers on roads and road junctions.

2003

Free books were distributed among children and two rooms were constructed in Kot Lakhpat Girls Middle School. In Government Services Hospital, a free food service was started three times a day for a period of eight years, serving up to 1000 patients. Eventually, this responsibility was taken on by a donor, and the service is still ongoing. In addition, a service to provide quality food to prisoners in jails was initiated, providing food once a month for two years to approximately 4000 prisoners. The donor then passed on this responsibility to another catering company.

2004

In the Government Mian Munshi Hospital located on Band Road, a food service was initiated for patients, which is still in operation today. The service aims to provide nutritious meals to patients during their stay in the hospital. The number of patients benefiting from this service is estimated to be around 150. This initiative has been crucial in ensuring that patients receive adequate nutrition during their treatment, which is essential for their recovery. Hospital stays can be a challenging time for patients and their families, and having access to healthy and nourishing food can make a significant difference in their well-being. The continuation of this service is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the hospital staff to provide quality care to patients. The service has not only improved the overall experience of patients but has also contributed to their health and recovery.

2005

A huge number of October 2005 Earthquake victims were shifted to Lahore which kept on increasing and reached up to 700. Clothes and residence were managed for them and for six months food was also provided on which Pak Helpline spent a huge sum of money. In addition to this, a restoration camp was also organized in Mansehra.

2006

A scheme was started on behalf of city district government through which community had to provide 20% and government had to provide 80% of the amount and every possible work which can be done in favor of public e.g., school, dispensary, road and public toilet etc. Helpline started its work initially from Government Girls High School, Hanjarwal which by the Grace of Almighty Allah got completed on 2007. In this project 7 rooms, 1 office and concrete stairs were completed which was very eye catching and beneficial for the students. Food service was started in Jinnah Hospital in which the number of patients was 1000. In Government Hospital, Kot Khwaja Saeed, food service for patients was started in which the number of patients comprised 150 which is still being continued.

2007

A dispensary was established in Green Town, and a Stitching Center for Girls was also set up alongside it. The centre has been functioning ever since, and hundreds of girls have benefitted. Furthermore, food service was initiated for cancer ward patients at Mayo Hospital, which currently serves 150 patients. This service has been operational and continues to provide sustenance to those in need.

2008

At the Shadab school for mentally challenged individuals, a lunch service for 150 patients was established and has continued to operate. Under the CBC Scheme, several schools were improved with necessary infrastructure.
  • At Government Girls High School in Hanjarwal 6(II), construction of 6 rooms, 4 toilets, and concrete stairs were completed.
  • At Government Girls High School in Niaz Baig, 10 rooms, 5 toilets, and 2 concrete stairs were constructed.
  • At Government Boys Primary School in Niaz Baig, 2 rooms were built.
  • At Government Girls Primary School in Janjatey, 7 rooms, a 600-foot boundary wall, 5 toilets, and an office were constructed.
  • Lastly, at Government Boys Primary School in Shadeywal, 2 rooms, 2 toilets, an 800-foot boundary wall, and an office were built.

2009

In the impoverished areas of Amar Sidhu and Harbanspura, stitching centres were established with one in each area. These centres have remained functional over the years and have graduated hundreds of girls annually. Additionally, under the CBC Scheme, City District Government Girls Primary School in Muslim Chok received improvements to address the shortage of rooms. The construction of 3 rooms resolved the issue and since then, there have been no complaints regarding the shortage of space.

2010

In response to the devastating floods in Muzaffargarh, a camp was established to assist the affected individuals in their restoration efforts. The camp included a room for shelter, a veranda for additional living space, and a hand pump to provide access to clean water. This camp likely provided a much-needed refuge for those who lost their homes and belongings in the floods, and the availability of clean water would have helped prevent the spread of waterborne diseases. Under the CBC Scheme, CDLG Boys High School 4-DII in Green Town received a valuable addition with the construction of 3 rooms. This expansion likely provided much-needed space to accommodate the growing number of students and teachers, allowing for a more comfortable and efficient learning environment. With the additional rooms, the school would have been able to provide more resources to its students and faculty, contributing to a more enriching academic experience for all involved.

2011

Once again, devastating floods caused extensive damage, particularly in the province of Sindh. In response to this crisis, Helpline was established to aid in the restoration efforts. The helpline has been tirelessly working to provide assistance to those who were affected by the floods, and the work continues to this day. With the help of Bonanza, a fellow resident in the area, thousands of people have been able to receive the aid they desperately need. The ongoing efforts of the helpline have likely helped to alleviate some of the suffering caused by the floods and contributed to the recovery and rebuilding of affected communities. The dedication and hard work of those involved in the helpline and Bonanza are a testament to the spirit of community and compassion in the face of adversity. Their efforts have undoubtedly made a difference in the lives of those affected by the floods, and their continued work will be crucial in the ongoing restoration efforts. The willingness of individuals and organizations to step up and provide support during times of crisis is a reminder of the resilience and strength of communities in the face of adversity.

2012

The establishment of the Karbath Medical Center was a significant step in providing healthcare access to individuals in the Bedian road area. The centre was built to support the Government Rural Health Center, which had been abandoned for an extended period of time. Despite the challenges of starting up a new medical facility, a trust was formed to operate the centre and ensure that it would continue to provide healthcare services to the community. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the trust members, the Karbath Medical Center has been able to provide critical medical services to thousands of patients in need. The centre’s continued success is a testament to the importance of community-driven initiatives in addressing healthcare challenges. Access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, and initiatives like the Karbath Medical Center are crucial in ensuring that this right is fulfilled. The success of the trust in operating the centre and providing essential medical services to the community is a reminder of the power of collective action in addressing social challenges. As the centre continues to serve the community, it remains a beacon of hope and a symbol of the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.

2013

The Gojra Educational Complex was facing an uncertain future as the owners were unable to continue running it. However, a remarkable development occurred when the owners handed over the management of the school to Helpline under an agreement. The decision has proven to be a resounding success, with a noticeable increase in the number of students enrolling in the school. The school’s academic results have also shown significant improvement, providing hope and a brighter future for the students. With the school now affiliated with the Punjab Educational Foundation, the future looks promising for the students and the community. Access to quality education is vital for individuals to realize their full potential and contribute to the growth and development of their communities. The successful handover of the Gojra Educational Complex to Helpline is an excellent example of the power of collaboration and community-driven initiatives in addressing social challenges. The positive impact of the school’s turnaround cannot be overstated, as it is providing much-needed educational opportunities to the community. The success of the school is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the teachers, staff, and volunteers who are committed to ensuring that every student receives a quality education.

2014

The School and stitching centre in Manawan were facing challenges in their operations, resulting in inadequate educational and vocational training opportunities for the community. However, a positive development occurred when the owner entrusted the responsibility of managing the centre toĀ  Helpline. Since then, the school and stitching centre has undergone a significant transformation, producing impressive results. The students are now receiving a quality education, and the stitching centre is fulfilling orders for school uniforms, providing a sustainable source of income for the organization. The success of the school and stitching centre is a result of the dedication and hard work of the staff and volunteers of Pak Helpline, who are committed to ensuring that every individual has access to quality education and vocational training opportunities. The provision of education and vocational training is critical in enabling individuals to acquire the necessary skills to improve their lives and contribute to the development of their communities. The success of the Manawan school and stitching centre is a testament to the impact of community-driven initiatives and the importance of collaboration in addressing social challenges. The organization’s commitment to improving the lives of the community is admirable, and the positive impact of their work is evident in the results achieved. The provision of school uniforms by the stitching centre not only benefits the organization financially but also helps ensure that every student has access to proper school attire, removing a significant barrier to education for many families.

2015

Issuance of interest free loans started which is continuing with great success and till now thousands have been benefited. Government Girls Middle School Behari Colony faced a serious shortage of rooms and children used to sit under the shade of trees. Izhar Limited were informed with the condition who completed 5 classrooms, 8 toilets and handed over to the school. As a result of it, Government gave it the rank of High School. Similarly, in Kot Abdul Malik High School only had one toilet where there was always a line of children. There with the monetary help of Mian Musaddiq, a toilet block of 8 toilets and a room was constructed with which the prolonged demand of students was fulfilled. In the same block, a cycle stand was also constructed. Similarly, from CDGL in Girls Primary School Muslim Chok and Globe Girls Middle School, a room for each was constructed with the monetary help of our late friend Karam Ilahi Khan. He also got 3 rooms constructed in CDGL Girls Primary School 12/B1 which fulfilled the shortage of rooms. Hajra Bibi Muhammad Sadiq Hospital which is loacated on Sheikhupura Faisalabad road, its administration was also taken be Helpline which is improving. A dispensary was also initiated in Manawan Project and from vocational center, stitching of uniforms also started which proved to be quite beneficial. Purchase of 10 Acres of land in Rana Town Shahdara and establishment of School in it, which is planned to be taken till matric and also planned to have a computer lab, stitching center and a dispensary. According to Family Welfare Project, financial aid of 20 families is being done from the start. In all stitching centers, poor and deserving girls are given a gift of a machine with which those girls work and help out their family members.

2016

The provision of food service to patients admitted to Government Nawaz Sharif Hospital is a great initiative, which is benefiting a large number of patients. The availability of food helps patients in their recovery process and ensures their nutritional needs are being met. It is commendable that the hospital is providing food to 150 patients three times a day, which is a significant undertaking. The availability of subsidized and fresh food in the cafeteria is also a great initiative that is benefiting thousands of people. It ensures that people have access to healthy and affordable food, which is essential for their overall well-being. These initiatives show the commitment of the government and other organizations towards improving the healthcare system in the country. The construction of roofs of houses for earthquake victims in Lower Deer is another commendable initiative. The earthquake had caused a lot of destruction, and many families were left homeless. The construction of roofs of 23 houses is a significant step towards the rehabilitation of the affected families. It is essential to provide shelter to these families as it ensures their safety and well-being. It is hoped that more initiatives will be taken to provide better living conditions to the affected families. The provision of loans through Islamic financial services in Chitral is also a great initiative that is benefiting families in the area. The availability of loans allows families to start their own businesses or invest in their existing ones. This not only helps them to become financially independent but also contributes to the economic development of the area. It is hoped that such initiatives will continue to be taken to improve the lives of people in the country.

2017

Start of Computer lab in Chitral for educational purposes. The aidĀ of Muslim Refugees through food and medicine. Al-Kitab school is an institute reaching forth to establish a society rich in Islamic values, education and prosperity. By implementing the Quran and Sunnah among the people, the goal is to illustrate the mentors and the students with the words and meanings of God’s words and to help them prosper. The initial start of the school was on April 1 2017. The number of students at that time was 40 which increased to 150 in under two months. By August of that year, the student count had risen to 190 and is now 300. Moreover: Financial aid of patients for medicine and tests, especially those patients who are admitted in Government Hospitals. Iftaar Program: Every year in Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, in some Grand Masjid or hospital, Iftaar is organized. Arrangement of admission fee of universities for deserving students and monthly scholarship is being done so that they could complete their education and play vital role in the society. Ramadan Ration: Every Ramadan, approximately 10 thousand families are given ration. Qurbani Meat: Similarly, Qurbani meat is also being distributed among deserving people which is 13 thousand. Construction of roofs of additional 20 houses of earthquake victims of Lower Deer. In 5 villages of Sindh, arrangement of education of children through Masjid and School. Mobile Dispensary in Mithi gives free treatments to 1500-2000 patients.

2018

The major contribution in Ramzan is food packages distributing to poor families, and disabled persons registered in this office. This year in Ramzan 2018, 10850 packets were distributed costing Rs. 20,536,991. Such as Gojra, Bahawalpur, R.Y. Khan, Rajanpur, Murree and head office Township, Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK and Kashmir. And the total beneficiaries are 10,850. Qurbani Program: On every Eid al-Adha our donor entrusts their duty of Qurbani on the shoulders of helpline and donate cash according to their Qurbani animals. This year in 2018 we slaughter 236 cows costing 16,000000/ throughout the country. Such as Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK and Kashmir. And the total beneficiaries are 14160. Al-Kitab School Computer education: Computer classes started in February 2018 which is developing under the supervision of qualified teachers to provide students with knowledge of common and advanced computer skills for the brilliant future ahead.
In 2019 Helpline slaughtered hundreds of animals with the help of our donors throughout the country. Such as Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK and Kashmir. And the total beneficiaries were 19000. Helpline started a computer lab in Bahawalpur for education purposes. Women empowerment: For women empowerment work helpline started a vocational training centre in Al-Kitab School, Rana Town, to enable them to earn their daily bread and butter and to support their families. Pakistan is on its way to becoming a water-deficient country as it already stands in the 30th position among the most water-deficient countries in the world. Safe drinking water is one of Pakistanā€™s most immediate and crucial problems that demands the earliest actions to be taken for its resolution. Helpline Pakistan installed 1500 water pumps across the country in the single year of 2019. Helpline has launched a Tree Plantation Campaign under the clean and green Pakistan vision and planted hundreds of plants in Al-Kitab School, Rana Town.

2020

Pakistan now in a critical situation in the worldā€™s water-deficient nations, indicating that it is rapidly approaching this status. Safe drinking water is one of Pakistanā€™s most pressing and critical issues, and it must be addressed as soon as possible. Helpline in the year 2020, installed another 1500 water pumps around the country. Under the Clean and Green Pakistan agenda, Helpline organized a Tree packages supplied to needy families and disabled people enrolled with this office are the main gift of Ramzan. 28000 packs were provided to deserving individuals in Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Baluchistan this Ramzan 2020. Like every year in 2020 Helpline slaughtered 672 animals with the help of our donors throughout the country. Such in Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK and Kashmir.

2021

In the year 2021, Helpline Social Welfare organization distributed 13,000 ration packages, ensuring that countless underprivileged households had access to essential food supplies during challenging times. Also, Helpline undertook the sacred act of Qurbani, sacrificing 680 animals to provide meat to those who otherwise might have gone without during the Eid al-Adha festivities. Beyond these benevolent initiatives, Helpline Social Welfare Organization extended its reach to improve the living conditions of communities in Gilgit and southern Punjab by installing much-needed water pumps, thereby addressing a critical need for clean and accessible water sources. Through their remarkable endeavors, this organization demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the welfare of society, touching hearts and changing lives in the process.

2022

In the year 2022, Helpline Social Welfare Organization emerged as a beacon of hope and support during the devastating flood 2022 in flood-affected areas of Sindh, Southern Punjab and Baluchistan, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to providing essential aid to those in need. As torrential floods ravaged communities, Helpline played a pivotal role in rescue and relief efforts. We not only extended a helping hand to those trapped or stranded but also distributed vital medicines, tents for shelter, and nourishing food supplies to alleviate the suffering of thousands. Helplineā€™s remarkable humanitarian efforts were further exemplified in 2022, by the distribution of a staggering 8,890 ration packages, ensuring that vulnerable families had access to sustenance during these trying times. Additionally, in the spirit of sacrifice and compassion, Helpline carried out 529 animal sacrifices as part of the Qurbani ritual, ensuring that the less fortunate could also partake in the blessings of this sacred tradition. Through their selfless endeavors.

2023

In the year 2023, So far, Helpline distributed 3005 ration packages in Ramzan, and undertook the sacred act of Qurbani, sacrificing 527 animals to provide meat to those who otherwise might have gone without during the Eid al-Adha festivities.
